Man pulls gun on riot police and is fatally shot

At close to Midnight Wednesday night police working in South Tel Aviv encountered a group of men and stopped to investigate them. They were asked to present their identity cards when suddenly one of them pulled out a gun which he aimed at the police. Police responded quickly and neutralized him before he was able to injure anyone.

The suspect died of his wounds in Ichilov hospital.
