Oldest synagogue in Syria shelled and destroyed

Rabbi Israel Meir Gabbai, Chairman of 'Ohalei Tzaddikim' organization, which is engaged in the location, restoration and preservation of cemeteries and tombs around the world, visited the synagogue near the outbreak of fighting between the rebels and Assad.
