Tycoon's wife: Mrs. Sheindel Finkelstein a"h

Baruch Dayan Haemes: Yesterday (Monday), Mrs. Sheindel Finkelstein a"h passed away in the United States. Mrs. Finkelstein a"h was the wife of Rabbi Yaakov Finkelstein, one of the greatest contributors to Torah institutions.
The tycoon contributes to Ponovicz, Mir and other yeshivas. They also established a yeshiva in New Jersey and fund the yeshiva led by Hrh"g David Maggid.
Their home was a home filled with meshulachim, and Roshei Yeshiva would enjoy Mrs. Finkelstein's Hachnasas Archim.
Her husband was a Holocaust survivor from Poland who emigrated to Shanghai together with the Mir yeshiva. Later he moved to America and married Mrs. Sheindel a"h, daughter of Rabbi Nachum Fishbein of Chicago. Together they established a home of Torah, and many of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are dayanim and rabbanim.
She passed away yesterday and the funeral will be held today (Wednesday) in Bnei Brak and she will be buried at the Ponovicz cemetery.
