In middle of prayer: Satmar chassidim screamed "moiser!"

While Nechemiah Weberman, a Satmar chassid, 55 – was convicted of no less than 59 cases of molesting a 19-year-old girl who belonged to the chassidus, serving a heavy prison sentence of more than 50 years, the girl – who was treated at the organization where he worked – continues to absorb insults.

When she came on Rosh Hashana, accompanied by her new husband, to the Satmar shul in Williamsburg, where the family prayed over the years, a bitter surprise awaited her. "Moiser," cried some members and prayer stopped until she was forced to leave in disgrace.

"One woman tried to tell my wife to stay, and ignore what they say - but my wife decided to leave anyway," said the husband to the New York Post.

This is not the first time the girl's family suffers harassment and abuse. Previously her father was forced to publish a letter which denied any connection to the delivery of Weberman to the authorities. Even her mother's business - a cosmetics store, suffered a severe economic blow.
